Who Turned On The Dark?

Went out with Courtney S. and Megan on WED to Whimsic Alley and Necromance and had lunch at Pink’s. Best hot dogs ever. Came home, picked Courtney C. up, stayed up ALL night for the Pottermore announcement…AND WENT TO DISNEYLAND the next day. Rode the new Star Tours and Little Mermaid. I got to see World of Color for the first time (WHICH WAS AMAZING) Came home exhausted and did nothing Friday…but the best day was Saturday….

Courtney and I started our day by going to Whimsic Alley and then to Necromance and after CSTSLA we went to In-N-Out. It was the best.

I was already so excited just to go and get to see Joss Whedon and Felicia Day in person…and then Nathan Fillion showed up. I screamed like a little girl was totally calm and collected watching him walk out. They were all ridiculously charming and funny. I want to fight for subterranean mole-men’s equality now.

We watched Serenity and I tried really hard not to cry when I lost my Wash.

Between Serenity and Dr. Horrible, they announced that someone (ME) was celebrating their 21st birthday. So amid calls of “Please let them have a birthday shot for her” and “Mudder’s Milk!” I was called to the front.  I was told that Joss signed a program for me and I almost died. It was completely unexpected and wonderful that they would do something that special for me.

So, that was the best birthday celebration ever and I dunno if it can be topped. Thank you to the California Browncoats for putting on such a great event, especially to Therese for making this the best day ever for lil ol’ me.
